Fri April 30 - Arise this morning ready to experience your first Irish breakfast, a feast to be sure.  Our day trip today will be to Slane Castle where Chloë has fond memories of Celtic Woman performing their milestone concert, A New Journey: Live At Slane Castle in 2006.  We will have a tour of the castle, a late 18th century estate in the historic Boyne Valley that is also a well-known concert venue.  We will enjoy a tour and tasting next door at Slane Whiskey Distillery.  You will have time for lunch on your own on the beautiful castle grounds before we start heading back.  On our way, we will stop at Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre where you will enjoy browsing the iconic Irish silverware, jewelry, cutlery and giftware.  Upstairs is the Museum of Style Icons where you will see some of the world’s most famous outfits.  This evening, we will have dinner at Johnnie Fox’s and enjoy a show of traditional Irish music and dance.  (B,D)

Sat May 1 - After our lovely breakfast, we will head out to Powerscourt Estate, another iconic location of Celtic Woman fame.  Chloë will tell us her personal stories from this beloved place and you will have time to explore the house and gardens at your leisure.  Get a bite to eat in the Avoca Terrace Café where you can enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the incredible views of the estate and Sugarloaf Mountain.  Take a walk out to Ireland’s highest waterfall right on the Powerscourt Estate or shop the authentic Irish merchandise and crafts at the Avoca shops.  We will head back to our hotel where you may relax and enjoy the atmosphere or you may go into Dublin to explore the museums, shops, restaurants and parks on your own.  The rest of the evening is yours.
